필리핀의 자동차 가격은 우리나라에 비해 아주 비싼 편입니다.
우리나라 차량을 예로 들면 현대 투싼의 경우 깡통 모델이 3천2백만 원 이상이고 가장 비싼 모델은 4천4백만 원이 넘습니다. 물론 가장 비싼 모델도 우리나라 풀옵션이 아니라 몇 가지 옵션들은 빠져 있습니다.
투싼을 예로 들었지만 다른 차량도 마찬가지입니다. 우리나라의 풀옵션이 없습니다.
차량 가격이 비싼 만큼 중고차 가격도 많이 비싸고 아주 오래된 차량도 실제로 판매를 하고 있습니다.

보시는 바와 같이 필리핀에는 일본의 브랜드들이 많이 판매되고 있습니다.
그래도 도로를 다니다 보면 우리나라 브랜드의 차량도 점차 많아지고 있는 추세입니다.
가격은 일본 브랜드와 우리나라 브랜드가 비슷한 수준입니다.
예전에는 우리나라 브랜드 차량의 부품을 수급하기 힘들어서 일본 브랜드 차량을 선호하였지만 현재는 우리나라 브랜드 차량의 부품도 어렵지 않게 구할 수 있어서 많이 구매를 하고 있습니다. 물론 디자인도 우리나라 차량이 잘 나오고 있습니다.
